Sudden scowl clouded my features
A painful reality shocked my world
I was wrapped in a shroud of sadness
My freezing hands clenched on the lies
you told
Crystal droplets revealed my weakness
Till my heart could no longer cry
Thirst of revenge rooted in my mind
My tearful eyes suddenly went dry
Unless memories of you stay unforgotten
You would never be forgiven
And to the icy breeze I swore
That I would love no more
While my heart was burning with fatal fury
A daring creature tried opening its door
When he vanquished my fiery obstacles
I stopped my heart from loving once more
Yet its softness was then resurrected
His gentle warmth spun my world around
Love was triumphant over hatred
I was lost only to be found.
